Position: Estimator
Location: Bromont Headquarter
Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director of estimation, your responsibilities are;
• Manage all assigned tenders.
• Analyze submission documents, plans, specifications, and addenda.
• Prepare and submit all tender documents, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines.
• Support the sales team with renovation and new construction estimates for both commercial and residential projects.
• Conduct plan and specification analyses to propose cost-effective and profitable alternatives.
• Estimate all project costs, including materials, labour, equipment, etc., and required timelines.
• Work closely with the Director of estimation to finalize tenders and meet the company’s sales objectives.

Desired Profile for the Estimator:

• College diploma in Estimation, Architecture, Engineering, or a relevant field, combined with 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications at a high level.
• Proficiency in mathematics and computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Takes responsibility and has exceptional organizational skills.

Working in collaboration with the Project Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
• Establishing priorities and planning the progression of project execution activities.
• Conducting site visits to ensure that the work follows the established schedule.
• Representing the company at site meetings.
• Building trust and communicating project progress and issues with clients.
• Supervising material resources and labor on job sites.
• Evaluating and negotiating change requests from a financial perspective.
• Performing regular follow-ups on the budgets of assigned projects.
• Supporting the on-site project team.
• Negotiating and awarding subcontractor agreements.
• Overseeing the quality of work execution.
• Promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Desired Profile :

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Demonstrates leadership and initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to guide installation teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and ability to adapt to other digital tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
